The Nürnberg State Theatre is one of the biggest and most beautiful theatres in Germany.
It`s a qiute new and more prestigeous stage, but I am here again amoung “old” friends: all the colleagues, singers, collaborators and assistants, invited from the Director Peter Theiler to follow him further.

So I started the first season at the Nürnberg opera stage in December 2008 as Sparafucile in Verdi`s “Rigoletto”, produced by Andrea Raabe, under the guidance of Philipp Pointner.

But my first official premiere here was Ramfis in “Aida” by Verdi, at 31. of January 2009, produced by Daniel Herzog, under the guidance of Guido Johannes Rumstadt.

The next production will be Donizetti`s “Dom Sebastien, Roi de Portugal”, followed by “Puritani” by Vincenzo Bellini.

It was my first appearance on this grate Italian Stage, as the King of Egipt in Verdi`s “Aida”, produced by the world famous director Hugo de Ana and conducted by the amazing young Israeli Omer Meyer Wellber.
It was a pleasure to have a touch of the Italian music tradition and to enjoy the ancient cultural atmosphere. And first of all, to meet such colleagues as Kristin Lewis (Aida), Tichina Vaughn (Amneris), Walter Fraccaro (Radames), Marco Vratogna (Amonasro), Paolo Battaglia (Ramfis).
